Forgotten Angels 5K Run/Walk

The Forgotten Angels 5K Run/Walk will take place on Saturday, September 29 beginning at 8:30 a.m. at Arise Church, 401 Pauls Dr. in Brandon. Enjoy music and food after the event.

The cost is $35 for adults; kids 13 and under $15. Same day registration for adults is $40. Race day registration opens at 7 a.m. and includes race T-shirt, food, drinks and event festivities. You can register online at forgottenangelsflorida.org. All proceeds benefit Forgotten Angels of Florida.

Ladies Night Out – Harvest Moon Bunco

All ladies 18 yrs. and older are welcome to join St. Stephen Columbiettes Auxiliary 14084 for a Harvest Moon Bunco on Saturday, October 6 from 6-9 p.m. No experience necessary. Dinner will be served as well as bunco play, raffles, door prizes and a 50/50. Enjoy many of your favorite vendors available such as LuLaRoe.

The cost is $15 per person. Check in at 5:30 p.m. and dinner at 6:30 p.m. The event will take place in St. Stephen Family Life Center at 10118 St. Stephen Circle.

Contemporary Classical Music Group To Perform at Bell Shoals

Join Veritas in concert at the Bell Shoals Baptist Church on Saturday, September 22 at 6 p.m. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. Veritas is a contemporary classical vocal group whose harmonies infuse the sounds of pop and gospel music. The quintet covers both traditional hymns and current Christian music.

General admission is $8 per ticket, and a VIP experience is available for $25 per ticket. The VIP experience provides early entrance at 4:30 p.m. and includes preferred seating, a ‘meet and greet,’ autographs, photo-ops and a Q&A session.

Bingo For Mission

Holy Innocents’ Episcopal Church is teaming up with its good friends at Bay Life Church to host a Bingo and Card Making event on Friday, September 28 from 7- 9 p.m. Come and enjoy a night of card making, games, prizes, raffles and Bingo all to support a good cause, Registration fee is $25, which includes the supplies and materials to complete four cards using stamping supplies. Bring your own adhesive to the event. The event will be held at Holy Innocents’ Episcopal Church, 604 N. Valrico Rd. in Valrico. Holy Innocents’ Fall Festival

Holy Innocents’ Episcopal Church is hosting its first annual Fall Festival and Ministries Fair on Sunday, September 23 starting at 12 Noon. There will be food, fun family activities and displays highlighting the many outreach ministries supported by Holy Innocents such as ECHO, Family Promise and kidsPACK just to mention a few. Fall Foliage Demonstration At Luncheon

The Brandon Christian Women’s Connection’s Luncheon on Monday, October 8 will feature a demonstration by Lowes Garden Center and Fabulous Fall Foliage. 

The Speaker is Sarah Im, author of How I Survived The Killing Fields.  This is a nondenominational luncheon for all ladies. No membership is required and the cost for entertainment and the luncheon is $15. First time guests pay $10.

Annual Gifts & Crafts Fair To Be Held At The Bridges Retirement Community

With the holidays approaching, shopping for unique gifts could not be easier when you visit the seventh annual Gifts & Crafts Fair, held on Saturday, October 13, from 10-3 p.m. at The Bridges Retirement Community. Shopping is free and open to the public. This one-stop holiday shopping event features over 30 vendors.
