Darrel Day and Robert Benscoter have owned Dog Gone Holistic since February of 2015. In keeping with its annual tradition, this year they will host the 8th Anniversary Sale, which will take place on Saturday, May 7 from 10 a.m.-6 p.m.

Everything in the store will be on sale all day long. Customers will be able to save 10 percent on all cat and dog foods and 15 percent on everything else. While supplies last, free goodie bags will be given out with a $35 or more purchase.

Day said, “It’s hard to believe, but it’s been over a year since we became involved with Dog Gone Holistic. It’s been a dream-come-true for both of us. And, word of mouth recommendations are bringing in new customers daily. It is so rewarding to us and our staff when a customer comes in and says that we’re making a difference in their pet’s life and in theirs too.”

The event also provides the opportunity for customers to meet some of the faces behind the products and allows the owners to showcase the exciting new products that Dog Gone Holistic now carries.

Some of the participating vendors include Weruva (cat and dog foods), Red Barn (dog chews and treats), Nature’s Logic (dog food) and Nulo (cat and dog foods).

There are several new products being introduced like Cat’s Incredible cat litter from Lucy Pet Products. All of the Lucy profits go to the Lucy Pet Foundation for the adoption and care of pets that would have otherwise been euthanized. Also Fussie Cat dry cat foods to complement its line of canned cat foods that are already extremely popular at Dog Gone Holistic, and Benebone dog chews – long lasting dog chews with natural flavorings, which have been really popular with the dogs.

Day and Benscoter hope the entire community will come out and celebrate the store’s anniversary with them.

“We’re so happy to be able hold this event for the eighth time. We think of this as a customer appreciation day for all of our loyal customers. Thank you for trusting us as your partner in caring for your pets,” said Day.
