Bryant Sells is living the American dream — moving up the company ladder from being an employee working on retail development with uBreakiFix, to owning two of his very own franchises. Just over three years ago his dream became a reality when he opened his very first store in the Valrico area in the Shoppes at Lithia plaza. Two years later, Sells opened his second store in the Regency Square shopping center in Brandon. “I always wanted to be a business owner,” Sells said. “I just had to get my foot in the door.”

uBreakiFix offers a wide array of services fixing consumer electronics, from game consoles and laptops, to phones and tablets. They have even repaired TV motherboards and drones. uBreakiFix will look at your electronics and give an estimate for free. They also sell products, such as glass screen protectors and phone cases. If you purchase a glass screen protector warranty for $50 and the phone breaks with that protector on it, the next screen repair will only cost $9.

“I want customers to know that we have their best interest at heart,” Sells said. “We are always honest and forthright, which isn’t always the case in the sales industry.” uBreakiFix will price-match to make sure that each customer gets the right deal. Sells takes pride in his store’s customer service and he wants to make sure that every customer leaves the store with a great experience. “I know that nobody plans for electronic repairs, they just happen,” he said.

uBreakiFix has over 300 locations, both nationally and internationally. It has stores located in Canada and Trinidad as well as the U.S. Sells would ultimately like to purchase some more uBreakiFix franchises in the future. “We want to be an established figure in the community and to be a go-to resource for everybody in the greater Brandon area, “ Sells said. “We want to be respected and well-known in the community.”
