With the arrival of fall, some might ponder revamping their wardrobe this season. Jeanmarie Milla, who owns Mainstream Boutique in Riverview, along with her staff of five women can provide assistance to those seeking a new wardrobe and much more. Mainstream Boutique strives to strengthen, celebrate and empower the women in its communities everyday, as stated in its mission statement.

The Riverview location opened in December 2017. A total of four Mainstream Boutiques exists in the state of Florida. As a franchise, people can discover this boutique in more than 20 states. The Riverview location came into fruition through an opportunity Milla came across as she decided it would be a good time to exit working in a corporate environment to fulfill her dream of owning a boutique since the age of five.

The 1,185 sq. ft. building offers more than 500 pieces of merchandise such as jewelry, clothes and shoes for women of all ages to choose from. Individuals can also find Mac and Me jeans, Mainstream Boutique’s exclusive brand. It also sells other brands that include locally owned Three Pearls Jewelry, Elan and more. It carries sizes 0 to 16 and extra small to extra large, suitable for various occasions.

“Mainstream Boutique is multigenerational and my goal would be for women to feel confident when they leave here as relationships get built,” Milla said.

A complimentary service that Mainstream Boutique offers is a private shopping experience and a ladies night out. Those who participate will get one on one help from the staff here as they help women find what looks best on them and more. It also gives a 10 % military discount with a valid identification. In addition, as part of the loyalty program individuals will automatically get 20% off their next purchase once they spend $500.

“Overall, thank you all for your support and encouragement to help me fulfill my dream,” Milla said.
