Dodie White, president of Plant City Entertainment said, “Plant City Entertainment is very excited to produce Shrek The Musical. Our goal for all of our summer musicals is to involve as many youth, adults and families as possible. We want everyone who is involved to have a positive experience and a great summer. They all spend a tremendous amount of their summer at the theatre learning lines, music, dances, rehearsing and preparing the set for the show.”

White added, “Shrek The Musical is one of the largest shows we have ever undertaken, and most definitely, it is the most expensive with the extensive costumes and make up. We have produced many very large musicals including Les Miserable, Hello Dolly, Jesus Christ Superstar, Beauty and the Beast, South Pacific and Legally Blonde. We are very excited to include Shrek The Musical to our production list.” Shrek The Musical is directed by Oliver Sprague. “I am so very proud of my cast and crew for putting together such a magical production of Shrek The Musical,” said Sprague.
