Get dressed up in your finest outfit and join others as they raise awareness about and much needed funds for The Outreach Clinic at the 7th Annual Kentucky Derby Party, hosted by The Outreach Clinic, on Saturday, May 5 at The Regent in Riverview.

The Outreach Clinic will host its Seventh Annual Kentucky Derby Party on Saturday, May 5 from 5 to 9 p.m. at The Regent, located at 6437 Watson Rd. in Riverview. Tickets are $100 per person. All proceeds will benefit the Outreach Clinic.

The Outreach Clinic’s Seventh Annual Kentucky Derby Party is a fun and exciting event. Your ticket gets you unlimited food samplings, and an open bar featuring Margaritas and Mint Juleps. There will also be Kentucky Derby Horse Games and a fabulous silent auction. You can play Derby Corn Hole for a chance to win a Chest of Cheer worth over $500. Watch the Kentucky Derby live on two big screens.

No Kentucky Derby party would be complete without fancy hats and well-dressed ladies and gentlemen. Ladies can compete in the Most Beautiful and Creative Hat Contest and the Most Fascinating Fascinator. Gentlemen can vie to win the Most Dapper Gentlemen and the Most Creative Dapper Guy Contests. Since the Kentucky Derby falls on Cinco de Mayo this year, organizers have added a prize for best Cinco de Mayo attire.

Debbie Meegan, Executive Director of The Outreach Clinic said, “This is our largest and most important fundraiser of the year. We are not bragging, but everyone who attends say it is best charity fundraiser they have ever attended. It is a great event with plenty of food and lots of activities that will delight everyone.”

Meegan added, “All proceeds from this event go to help the low income, uninsured receive the health care they need to stay alive. Most people do not realize that there are so many residents in our community who lose their lives every year because they cannot afford the health care they need. The Outreach Clinic can do something to prevent that but only if we get the financial support from our community.”

Meegan said, “You do not have to be a doctor to save a life. Everyone can be a lifesaver.”

The clinic provides much needed healthcare to those who do not have health insurance and cannot afford healthcare. Most of those who are served, have either a part time job or receive only minimum wage or are receiving unemployment compensation or Social Security Disability.

The Outreach Clinic is located at 517 N. Parsons Ave. in Brandon. For more information and to get tickets, please visit www.theoutreachclinic.com.
