Newsome Theatre Presents Grease

Newsome Theatre brings Grease, the iconic and classic work of Jim Jacobs and Warren Casey, to the stage in a timeless love story of a hunk and a goody two-shoes.

It will take place at Newsome High School Auditorium on Friday to Sunday, April 26, 27 & 28 at 7 p.m. There will also be a 2 p.m. matinee on Sunday, April 28.

Grease is set in Rydell High School in 1959 and centers on a seemingly polar opposite couple, Danny Zuko and Sandy Dumbrowski. After an almost perfect summer fling, Danny cuts it clean before school. Little does he know, Sandy transferred to Rydell High, making things tense. The story covers the complexities of teenage identity, masculinity, class conflict, and love.

Newsome is located at 16550 Fishhawk Blvd. in Lithia. Admission costs $15 for adults and $8 for students and seniors at the door. Presale tickets are available for $12 for adults & $5 for students/seniors at
