Rosecastle at Delaney Creek, surrounded by plenty of trees and vegetation, welcomes residents and guests, Wednesday, June 20, into its newly renovated lobby.

The Rosecastle at Delaney Creek assisted living facility is hosting a grand opening ceremony on Thursday, August 23 from 4 to 7p.m. to showcase its $350,000 renovations.

The facility, opened in 1999, now has a newly renovated roof, new wooden flooring, freshly painted walls throughout and newly restored awnings for residents to enjoy, said Regional Director of Sales and Marketing, Stephanie Mullis.

The location is licensed for 86 residents, 62 physical units and has two wings that are secured areas specializing in care for residents with cognitive impairments like Alzheimers, Dementia and many more.

“What sets us aside in our community is our extended congregate care license as opposed to having residents transition to a medical facility. We offer 24-hour nursing, which is not something the state requires. We just have it available, said Mullis.

So the extended congregate care license allows the facility to provide a peace of mind for aging residents making nursing services and assessments available for 24 hours while also maintaining health conditions with in-house visits from physicians, physical therapists, and more.

It offers residents three meals a day restaurant style with a server, housekeeping and laundry services along with transportation to appointments. They also incorporate various activities to keep residents active throughout the day including fitness classes, Bingo, social hour, and happy hour with entertainment.

The location has six floor plans for residents to choose from offering both private and shared accommodations as well as pet-friendly options.

“For residents interested in the assisted living care, Rosecastle is a private pay community,” said Mullis. “They also accept Medicaid, any veteran’s assistance, and long-term care insurance.”

According to the Rosecastle website, the Delaney Creek location is “nestled among oak trees and natural wetlands” and is one out of three Rosecastle locations in Florida and is located at 320 S Lakewood Dr. in Brandon.
