Enjoy a night out playing Bunco on Thursday, November 1 while supporting cancer research. The Osprey Observer’s ‘MaKEITHappen’ team will be walking in the Miles for Moffitt Walk/Run or Saturday, December 8.

Where can you get a night out with your friends, meet new ones along the way, and get to play Bunco for a good cause for only $25? The Osprey Observer staff and its sponsors will host a Bunco Night on Thursday, November 1 to raise funds for the upcoming Miles for Moffitt Walk/Run. Social hour (time to eat and check out all the great raffle prizes) will begin at 6 p.m. and bunco play at 7 p.m.

Bunco will take place at The Bridges, located at 11202 Dewhurst Dr. in Riverview (across from Winthrop Town Center).

There will be plenty of good food and wine, which is included in the price. Prizes will be given out to Bunco winners. To help further the cause, a lot of great prizes will be raffled, along with silent auction items.

All of the money raised will go toward the Miles for Moffitt Walk/Run which will take place at a new location in Tampa at Amalie Arena’s Ford Thunder Alley on Saturday, December 8.

This year’s goal of the walk is to raise $2 million.

“The Osprey Observer is proud to support the research efforts of Miles for Moffitt. This year, we walk for friends, family and even staff members who are getting treatment at the top research facility,” expressed editor Marie Gilmore. “We are fortunate to have such a significant source of research in our community and hope that our efforts can make a difference towards finding a cure.”

“We are thankful to The Bridges for donating space to host this event, Lake Brandon Village and Brandon South Chick-fil-A and Dynamic Painting for their loyal support of our efforts both now and in the past,” said Gilmore.
