As it regularly monitors the COVID-19 outbreak, it would like to remind you that it remains open and, as always, its employees, patients and community remain its top priority.
While many patients continue to receive treatment in one of its dermatology office locations, it understands that others may be looking for a contactless alternative. FLDSCC is offering virtual visits through telemedicine.
Due to the nature of cases it observes and treats, please note that a patient may be asked to schedule an in-office follow up appointment for further diagnosis and treatment if it is felt necessary.

Datz Opens In Winthrop
On May 14, a few Greater Riverview Chamber of Commerce (GRCC) members joined to celebrate Datz Restaurant Group – Riverview’s grand opening with a virtual celebration. The virtual ribbon-cutting was streamed on Facebook Live to members and the community.
Angel Campos, general manager of Datz Restaurant Group – Riverview, showed off its brand-new location and introduced those in attendance to the Datz Restaurant Group – Riverview management team.
With over 9,000 views for its virtual celebration, the new location was blown away with the community’s support and is absolutely thrilled to be opening in the Riverview area. It is currently operating at 25 percent capacity and has lots of outdoor seating for customers to enjoy its handcrafted food and beverages.

Greater Riverview Chamber Of Commerce Hosts Membership Meeting Via Zoom
The Greater Riverview Chamber of Commerce recently hosted its monthly membership meeting through Zoom, where more than 70 members tuned in from the comfort of their homes.
President Mike Jones welcomed everyone who tuned in to watch the virtual meeting and touched on some of the positives coming from the current situation. He also recognized some of the businesses that have gotten creative in improving their business and motivated everyone to hang on a little longer as restrictions are being lifted.
Dan Bender from South Bay Hospital then spoke on behalf of the healthcare system, letting viewers know about the challenges they have faced but how thankful they were with the outpouring of support from the community.

Canine Cabana Helps Out Local Resident
Recently, Canine Cabana had a call to action for helping one of its Riverview community customers. A woman had fallen in her home and did not want to call an ambulance until she knew her furry friends were taken care of.
When they received the call, Owners Angie Pickren and Kendall Duncan immediately knew that they had to help and lodge the woman’s two dogs for however long it was needed.
