The 110th Florida State Fair is coming to the Florida State Fairgrounds beginning on Thursday, February 6 and running through Monday, February 17. The Fairgrounds are located at 4800 U.S. Hwy 301 N. in Tampa. Parking is free.

The 110th fair’s theme is “1st Place For Fun” which is meant to remind fairgoers that the Florida State Fair is the first state fair of the year in the country. The annual fair is a salute to the state’s best in agriculture and equestrian industries.

In addition, the Florida State Fair boasts a number of fabulous offerings. This includes the largest independent midway as well as the largest travelling roller coaster in North America.

The Florida State Fair offers 110 free things to do, four featured concerts including: America, Country Gold, Sister Hazel and Uncle Kracker, amazing animals and livestock, Cracker Country, bizarre side show spectacles such as

sword swallowing and fire eating, an exciting FMX Motorcycle Thrill Zone, fantastic fair food and other exciting entertainment throughout the 12 days of fair fun.

“We’ve created expanded daily discounts and promotions to appeal to every group from honoring our heroes on opening day and four senior days to college day and four student days touching nine surrounding counties,” said Charles Pesano, Executive Director of the Florida State Fair Authority. “This is a great way to experience the fair and the key for having epic fun on a budget will be to buy early and save,” added Pesano.

Advance pricing for tickets is $7 for seniors on select days, $9 for adults, $5 for children ages six to 11 and children under five are free. You can also purchase ride armbands for $25 in advance. Tickets can be obtained at Walgreens stores and participating AAA locations throughout the Tampa Bay area. Tickets for the Country Gold concert on Wednesday, February 12 are only available through the Florida State Fair Authority.
