Incognito Lounge - MiraBay Village Plaza Update

Apollo Beach residents will no longer have to travel to get their nails done, for a cocktail after work or to seek the advice of a lawyer because all of these services are now available in their own backyard.MiraBay Village, a 31-acre village center at the entrance to MiraBay, a 750-acre waterfront community in Apollo Beach, recently announced the opening of several new businesses, including Incognito Lounge, Marco Nail & Spa, Satterfield Law Firm and the Apollo Beach Chamber of Commerce, in addition to its anchor, Sweetbay Supermarket.

Incognito Lounge is a 2,356-sq.-ft. upscale martini and jazz bar, which opened in April. Incognito Lounge, located at 131 Harbor Village Ln. in Apollo Beach, within MiraBay Village, offers food items ranging from its No. 1 seller, lump crab cakes, and Incognito nachos to tomato basil bisque with goat cheese and gourmet pizzas, including the Incognito Signature Pizza, topped with chicken, artichokes, mushrooms, garlic, alfredo sauce and goat and mozzarella cheeses. It is also a martini bar, offering specialty martinis like the Pomegranate Cosmopolitan, a White Peach Lemon Drop and many more, along with other specialty drinks. It recently added two new specialty drinks, the “Greentini,” an organic martini made with fresh muddled basil and the “Ginger Snap,” made with Absolut Pears, Canton Ginger Liqueur, fresh muddled basil and orange juice.

Incognito Lounge, one of the chamber’s newest members and neighbor in MiraBay Village, has a live saxophonist, Valrico resident Gene Cannon, on Wednesday and Thursday nights from 5:30–8 p.m. and live jazz Friday and Saturday from 8-11 p.m. It also has happy hour every day from 4 –8 p.m. Owners Kevin and Kristina Knott say, “We’re something you can’t get anywhere else around here: an upscale martini lounge with great food and a nice, relaxing atmosphere.” Incognito Lounge is open seven days a week from 3 p.m. – 12 Midnight and until 1-2 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. It has seating for approximately 110, with seating on the patio for 20.

Marco Nail & Spa, at 1,207 sq. ft., offers MiraBay Village customers a selection of various services, including manicure, pedicure, waxing and eyelash extensions. The nail spa, co-owned by Tyler and Alyssa Nguyen, provides several manicure options including acrylic, pink and white, nail art designs and gems. Prices range from $5-$50 for waxing, $10 and up for nail art, $35 and up for eyelash extensions and $35 for a full set of pink and white, $30 for a fill and $23 for a full set of acrylic and $15 for a fill. It also is offering a grand opening special of $2 off a pedicure of a full set if paying in cash. It is also offering free nail art with the purchase of a pedicure or a full set and serves beverages (soda, water or wine) with the service. Marco Nail & Spa is open Monday- Saturday from 9:30 a.m. – 7:30 p.m. and is closed on Sunday. The salon, which opened in March, can be reached at 645-0404 or 767-5020.

Satterfield Law Firm, led by attorney J. David Satterfield, specializes in personal injury litigation. This client-centered law office focuses on service and satisfaction, providing clients with one-on-one access to their attorney. Satterfield Law Firm, which opened in early February, serves all of Florida, particularly Apollo Beach and SouthShore, Brandon, Sarasota, St. Petersburg and Tampa. “Residents of Apollo Beach had to travel downtown for our type of legal services,” said Satterfield, who is a resident of MiraBay. “My goal was to bring the downtown firm to the residents of Apollo Beach.”

The Apollo Beach Chamber of Commerce relocated to MiraBay Village in late April. The relocation was necessitated by the chamber’s growth. “We needed more parking and a larger facility to be able to conduct the business of the chamber,” said Jody Whitmyer, president of the Apollo Beach Chamber of Commerce. “We chose MiraBay Village because we feel this beautiful facility will really enhance the chamber’s image.”The Apollo Beach Chamber of Commerce is open from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m., Monday – Friday.
