Adamo Dr. in the old Circuit City spot.  The Indianapolis, Indiana-based appliance and electronics company hired 32 new employees for the Brandon store, according to Jeff Pearson, vice president of marketing for hhgregg. Each employee at Hhgregg undergoes over 200 hours of product training each year, he said. “Expanding in Florida has been an integral part of our accelerated growth plans,” Pearson said. “Over the past year, the competitive landscape regarding the consumer electronics industry has changed considerably and the Tampa area presented us with an ideal opportunity to expand our business and gain market share. The six new stores will allow us to cultivate relationships with consumers who are looking for quality products and top-notch customer service.” At 31,479 sq. feet, hhgregg offers the largest showroom display of electronics and appliances, with a selection of over 100 digital TVs and 400 major appliances in stock every day. Most of our products come with a manufacturer warranty. hhgregg offers the consumer the opportunity to purchase extended product service plans. Pricing for these plans depends upon the number of years the extended warranty service is desired. Some brands available at Hhgregg include Sony, Panasonic, Samsung, Whirlpool, Maytag, GE, HP, and Toshiba, just to name a few. Other products include refrigerators, washers, dryers, computers, home audio equipment, gaming systems, cameras and more. According to Pearson, hhgregg has recently been shown to be No. 5 in appliances and in the top 15 for consumer electronics.
