Come out and enjoy a good night of fabulous food, casino-style games and fantastic auction items at BSAC’s 5th Annual Casino Night on Saturday, February 25.

You can make a difference in the lives of many area residents and have a great time doing it by attending Brandon Sports and Aquatic Center’s (BSAC) Fifth Annual Spurs and Saddles Casino Night. The annual event is set for Saturday, February 25, from 7-11 p.m. at the Winthrop Theatre Building located at 11349 Bloomingdale Ave. in Riverview.

Advance tickets are $35 for individuals ($45 at the door) and $60 per couple ($75 at the door). Attendees will be treated to fabulous food and beverages, silent and live auction and casino-style games. Each attendee (over 21 years old) receives one drink ticket and $50 in casino chips.

This year’s auction will feature great items such as a one week stay at a Colorado vacation home, two night stay at the beautiful Don CeSar Beach Hotel on St. Pete Beach or enjoy an afternoon on a yacht with a catered lunch. So grab your friends and western gear and get ready to have some fun!

Chuck Burgess, executive director for BSAC said, “This event is extremely important for us because the proceeds allow us to give scholarships to  families in need of affordable after school care and summer camp.” Burgess added, “Our mission is to ‘Impact Lives Daily.’ The support of the community at fundraisers like this allows us to do just that by improving our programming, facility and outreach to local groups.”

This is a great event to not only have fun, but to help a worthwhile community organization as well. Last year’s Casino Night raised $27,000. The funds went towards youth programming and facility improvements.

Each year with the support of the community, BSAC is able to serve over 800 children. BSAC is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that has been enhancing the lives of the people of the greater Brandon community for more than four decades by providing fitness, character and athletic programs for persons of all ages and abilities.

BSAC is located on 12 acres at 405 Beverly Blvd. in Brandon. Since 1968, BSAC has been instrumental in sending Olympians such as local swimming star Brooke Bennett to the Summer Olympics.
