The 2012 Leadership Brandon class was recognized for its eight months of hard work, dedication, and deep relationship building during a recent banquet held at the Hilton Garden Inn, in Riverview. Leadership Brandon annually affords area business leaders opportunities to develop their potential and nurture their desire to accept civic responsibility and roles of leadership in the community, expose themselves to the challenges and opportunities that currently face the Greater Brandon Area, and familiarize themselves with some of the processes and programs available for individual involvement in the community. 2012 Leadership Brandon Chair Ingrid M. Hooglander is greatly optimistic graduates will continue to exemplify lessons learned during class experiences.

“The sign of a true leader is someone who continues to show up long after the obligation and accolades are gone,” she said. “This class seems to embody this adage. I am making the commitment to not just stand by Leadership Brandon, but to stand by the Class of 2012. I will strive to assist them in this endeavor and to support them as they continue to move forward.”
