Totally Floored, Inc. may seem like your typical everyday flooring company, but this FishHawk based business does so much more for members of the community who have fallen on hard times.

Andrew and Kelly Rowjohn started Totally Floored, Inc. from their FishHawk home in 2003. Since the operation is small-scale, they can pass the savings on to their customers. No hidden fees, just affordable, professional flooring. They specialize in all areas of residential and commercial flooring products including vinyl, carpet, hardwood and laminate. Need to do some flooring renovations on your home or business? Give them a call and they’ll bring their mobile showroom to you.

The flooring business is only a small part of how the Rowjohns have made their imprint on the FishHawk community. Last December, when a close friend lost almost everything to a house fire, Kelly made an emergency request to her friends on Facebook to help gather supplies. “The project took on a life of its own,” Rowjohn said.

“Within seven days we had a rental home completely furnished, all emergency needs met, Christmas covered for the entire family and much, much more.”

Soon, the Friends of FishHawk nonprofit organization was formally established on March 26 to help connect the community’s philanthropists and charitable volunteers to meet the needs of their neighbors. The Rowjohns and Friends of FishHawk have contributed to countless charitable organizations such as the Mary and Martha House women’s shelter. Over the summer, the Friends of FishHawk, along with some local children, helped create and donate snack boxes for delivery to local homeless shelters. They’ve also collected items for Ministry of Hope, Seeds of Hope food bank, and spearheaded a book drive for Shriners Hospitals.
