Choosing a mortgage lender can be as daunting as finding the home of your dreams.  Not all lenders are the same and it is important to find one that has the experience and the integrity to do the job right.  Linda Thomas, Branch Manager of  Movement Mortgage, is here to help the process go as smooth as possible in what can be a very stressful time.

Thomas moved to the area in March and helped open Movement Mortgage’s newest location in Apollo Beach in May of this year. The lender has just been ranked, again, as one of the nation’s fastest-growing companies by Inc. magazine.  Thomas personally has 13 years of mortgage experience plus another 13 years title experience before that and she knows the ins and outs of the mortgage business.    “I respect that purchasing a home is one of the most important decisions in a person’s life and I work with them to make sure they are comfortable,” explained Thomas.

What sets Movement Mortgage apart from other lenders is that they fully underwrite the loans prior to shopping for a home.  “That is rare in the industry and it gives the buyers the strength of knowing they have an actual Commitment Letter to go shopping with, not just a Pre-approval Letter,”  Thomas stated.  She says that she makes sure to get all the documentation upfront so that the buyer truly knows their buying power.

“This is a time of growth in our industry.  The market is improving and that is exciting,” she said.  Thomas can help with buying a new home, purchasing a first home or refinancing an existing loan.

Movement Mortgage is the in-house lender for RE/MAX Across the Bay at FishHawk Ranch.  Thomas is licensed to write in all of Florida, as well as in Maryland, but her concentration in Florida is in the Hillsborough County area.  She can be reached on her cell phone seven days a week at 480-5396. Additional information can also be found at

Movement Mortgage is located at 449 Apollo Beach Blvd., in Apollo Beach. Its goal is “This is lending without boundaries…six hour underwriting, seven day processing, one day to close.”
