Riverview ShootingHillsborough County Sheriff’s Office detectives are investigating early morning shooting of a woman after she answered a knock at her front door in Riverview.
According to authorities, at around 12:36 a.m., Angela Morales, 36, of 12924 Fennway Ridge Drive in Riverview, was home with her two children and her husband when a knock was heard at the front door.
After several knocks, Morales went to the door and opened it, at which time at least six shots were fired, striking her multiple times, detectives said.
The suspect(s) fled the scene in what has been described as a possible 4 door dark color Sedan type vehicle.
“There could possibly have been more than one shooter as detectives have recovered two different type weapon casings,” said HCSO spokesperson Debbie Carter.
Morales is in critical condition at TGH.

Suspect: Black male, wearing something across his face, possibly has tattoos.
Vehicle: Possible 4-door Sedan dark sedan.

Investigators said, Morales also has two other sons a 17 and 21 year old that live at the residence, but were not home at the time of the shooting.
