The farm-to-table concept has come to Brandon and is wowing guests with fresh, locally-sourced ingredients showcased within a warm and welcoming environment at the new Boca Kitchen Bar & Market recently opened on Bloomingdale Avenue in the Winthrop Town Center.

The restaurant boasts beautiful indoor and outdoor seating options as well as a view of the open kitchen. Boca’s menu is based on the local food movement and sources ingredients from nearby farmers and specialty food purveyors.

Menu highlights include fried green tomatoes, grow-wall salads, freshly made flatbreads, prime beef burgers, yellowfin tuna and much more. Champagne brunch is offered on weekends including egg dishes, Benedict’s, and freshly baked waffles and French toast.

Vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options are available. Be sure to ask for the Staff Meal, a special Chef’s Choice meal available each night and sure to be a conversation piece.

“Winthrop is a beautiful neighborhood that had a place for something special like Boca Kitchen Bar & Market,” said General Manager Doug Scagliola. “We were able to expand on our market offering farm produce and vegetables as well as many of the amazing products featured on our menu.”

Boca Market offers an in-restaurant farmer’s market, selling fresh produce and products from local farms.

In addition to keeping things local and giving back to the community, Boca also believes in supporting those who have served.

“We want to thank those that serve the country,” Scagliola said. “Every military personnel that comes in the door gets their first drink on the house.”

Boca will also be working on fun food and wine dinners as well as beer and cocktail tastings in the coming year.

The restaurant and market are open Monday through Wednesday 11 a.m.-11 p.m., Thursday and Friday 11 a.m.-12 Midnight, Saturday 9:30 a.m.-12 Midnight and from 9:30 a.m.-11 p.m. on Sunday and is located at 11206 Sullivan St. in Riverview. Visit www.bocabrandon.com. Boca is owned by BE-1 Concepts who also run Boca locations in Tampa, Winter Park, Brandon and coming soon to Sarasota and St. Petersburg.
