The Brandon Chapter of Successful Women Aligning Together (S.W.A.T.) is celebrating its two-year anniversary. One of seven chapters across the west coast of Florida, the networking organization now boasts over 300 members and continues to grow. Brandon’s chapter seeks local female business professionals to join them for its anniversary luncheon.

Under the leadership of Dr. Robyn Spirtas, founder and CEO, and Deb Gerard, executive director, S.W.A.T. was founded with the idea to bring female professionals together to support one another in their business endeavors as well as in personal growth and friendship. Melissa Haskins, Director of Brandon’s chapter and local Edward Jones financial advisor says, “In general, I find you get a lot more out of a women’s networking group. It’s more of like a sisterhood. It’s all about relationships and getting to know each other.”

Meetings are held the second Thursday of every month from 11:45AM until 1:15PM at the Shrimp Boat located at 1020 Bloomingdale Ave, Valrico, 33596. Haskins is excited for the big anniversary celebration Thursday, September 14, and hopes to see a host of new faces in addition to current members. Guests are always welcome, but all need to RSVP online. The cost to register covers your lunch. Current Brandon S.W.A.T. members pay $14.75, visiting S.W.A.T. members from other chapters pay $17.75, and non-members pay $19.75. RSVP no later than 12 noon on the Tuesday prior to the meeting. For more information or to become a corporate sponsor call 786-2207 and visit them online where you can also register for the anniversary gathering or future meetings:
