South Bay Hospital celebrated their Volunteers by hosting the Annual Volunteer Awards Banquet held at the Community Hall South. It was an evening of friends, food, entertainment, dancing and many awards.

South Bay Hospital’s 2008 Female Outstanding Volunteer Award was presented to Lois Kirby, gift shop cashier.

South Bay Hospital’s 2008 Male Outstanding Volunteer Award was presented to James (Jim) Shockley, materials management.

South Bay Hospital also honored its Frist Volunteer Humanitarian Award Winner, Marie Musgrove. The Frist Humanitarian Award was created in 1971 to honor outstanding individuals for their humanitarian and volunteer activities. This award recognizes individuals whose daily dedication and care giving epitomize the highest standards of quality and personal commitment.
