In its ongoing effort to provide jobs, high quality educational experiences, community partnership and outreach, Kid’s Community College (KCC) INC., is proud of its two newest additions, KCC Southeast Hillsborough County Elementary Charter, an international Baccalaureate (IB) Modeled school and KCC Orange County Elementary Charter school, inc.

KCC, a nationally accredited  premier early childhood institution of higher learning, and is also an advanced elementary public school of choice, is educating close to 800 students at six campuses and is celebrating 10- years of growth and success, which began in 2003, when KCC founder, Timothy Kilpatrick, sought an educational alternative for his child.

“I was interested in identifying the way my son learned and adapted the method of teaching in order to succeed and excel in his educational experiences,” Kilpatrick said.

With its philosophy of “Early Success is the Key for Children” school officials are promising dedication to the educational success and well-being of every child.

“We believe that every child is unique,” school spokesperson Michelle Pruitt said.

The school’s Tampa/Riverview Campus continues to experience outstanding success after relocating the Preschool, Elementary and Middle Schools, last July, to its brand new 49,000 sq. ft. facility located at 10030 Mathog Road, while KCC Southeast is starting construction of its brand new 29,000 sq. ft. facility slated for in later this fall, promising to benefit the community with the program.

“KCC Southeast is moving forward to meet the high standards set by KCCus, for our students, faculty and staff,” said Southeast Campus Director, Martha Caballero. “We are currently on our new 29,000 sq. ft. building.

KCC Preschool/VPK are designated Department of Education Centers of Excellence in care giving and academic instruction, while the school offers Visual Arts, Theater, Music, Dance and Sports at the Riverview South Campus.

Recent successes also include the Riverview South campus’ claiming the Cross Country Track Championship for the fall 2012 season, while KCC Jr. Varsity claimed the JV Soccer Championship in January.

Kid’s Community College Riverview Campus now offers K-8th and continues to compete at the highest levels in education with individualized instruction for each child.

School officials emphasized that they are especially proud of KCC Southeast campus’ status of being the first and only International Baccalaureate (IB) modeled elementary in the Riverview Southeast Hillsborough County area.
