The Rotary Club of FishHawk Riverview’s Crawfish Festival has set the date and a new venue for this year.  The Fourth Annual Crawfish Festival will be held on Saturday, May 31 from 12-4 p.m. at the Winthrop Pole Barn area on crafish logoBloomingdale Ave. in Riverview. The money raised is donated to local charities and scholarship funds. There will be live Cajun music and plenty of activities for the children at this free event.

Purchase crawfish meal tickets before the Thursday, May 15 cutoff for $15. This will include about 2-3 lbs. of crawfish with the fixings (corn and potatoes). Other food items and beverages will be available for purchase at the event. Free hotdogs will be given away to children that bring non-perishable food donations.

A Crawfish Masquerade Ball leading up to this event will take place at the Palmetto Club in FishHawk Ranch on Friday, April 4. There are many ways to help make this event a success including sponsorships, volunteering, donations, selling tickets and more.  For information, visit or call 368-2699.
