Twin Lakes resident Christine Lacasse found herself in a jam when, during the construction of a custom pool in her backyard, she required the services of a licensed electrician.

The electrician hired by her pool contractor couldn’t reinstall her hot tub on the other side of her lanai, install another electrical outlet and wire for a ceiling fan.

Lacasse turned to Morningstar Electric, whose uniformed technicians quickly and professionally completed the job.

“They were on-time, friendly, efficient and when they finished they cleaned up after themselves,” she said. “They had a great attention to detail.”

Lacasse jokes that her backyard oasis is complete (even though she won’t be able to fully enjoy it until warmer weather returns) and is grateful for Morningstar Electric’s quick response.

Owners Ken and Tammy Morningstar, who celebrate the company’s tenth anniversary in March, are reliable about responding to customers’ requests quickly.

“We try to answer our phones seven days a week but if you don’t get us on the phone right away we make it a priority to get back to you as quickly as possible,” said Tammy.

Morningstar Electric provides professional electric service, repair and installation of all things electrical. From minor repairs to major remodeling projects, no job is too big or too small.

“We offer the same level of service whatever the size of the job,” said Tammy. “We give our customers exactly what they want.”

The company has been awarded for its reputation of doing just that. It is a Best of Brandon winner, Best of Southshore winner, a Greater Brandon Chamber of Commerce Small Business of the Year and the Greater Seffner Area Chamber of Commerce 2012 Business of the Year. It also provided its services to homeowners featured on an episode of DIY Network’s Yard Crashers.

The Morningstars’ ability to provide quality service is matched by their dedication to give back to the community. They donate their time and services to local charities, including ECHO, Shriner’s Hospital and A Kid’s Place.
“We aren’t wealthy people but we have a trade and we try to do what we can to help others,” she said.
